Beginners Courses

The next beginners course  starts on Tuesday 24th April, 2012.
(Apologies for the postponement of the course)

(Change of start date due to work being carried out within the gym).

Beginners courses run from 8pm -9pm for 5 weeks.

The cost of the course is £35 and includes equipment hire ( weapon, Mask, Glove, Jacket, plastron, and breeches) and instruction; also included is Grade 1 achievement award once the BFA syllabus has been successfully completed.

 The course covers basic fencing skills : simple attacks, defence, terminology, fencing safely, introduction to competition fencing.

 You will need to wear training shoes, shorts & T-shirt.

 Limited changing facilities are available. ( No showers).

 A drink may also be advisable (water or sports drink).
