Beginners Courses
The next beginners course for sabreurs starts on Friday 17th Sept, 2010.
Beginners courses run on a Friday from 8pm -9pm and run for 6 weeks.
The cost of the course is £30 and includes equipment hire ( weapon, Mask, Glove, Jacket, plastron, and breeches) and instruction; also included is Grade 1 achievement award once the BFA syllabus has been successfully completed.
The course covers basic fencing skills : simple attacks, defence, terminology, fencing safely, introduction to competition fencing.
You will need to wear training shoes, shorts & T-shirt.
Limited changing facilities are available. ( No showers).
A drink may also be advisable (water or sports drink).
